FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Mike's Club LLC (the thrift store and membership club) is a regular for-profit business. Although we accept and sell donated merchandise, we are not a nonprofit.

Mike's Club Foods Inc and Mike's Club Housing Inc ARE 501(c)(3) nonprofit companies.

We accept donations of clothing, household necessities, and furniture any time during store hours. Just bring it to our store and we'll make sure it gets to someone who needs it.

We also gratefully accept cash donations. Click on one of the links, under the "Donate" heading, at the bottom of this page.

To be clear, Mike's Club LLC (the thrift store) is NOT a nonprofit organization, and any donation will not be tax deductible.

We accept donations of food (both perishable and non-perishable) any time during store hours. Just bring it to our store and we'll make sure it gets to someone who needs it.

Mike's Club Foods Inc (the Little Free Grocery) IS a nonprofit organization, and donation are tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. We will issue receipts for any deduction upon request.

Along with the thrift store, which is open to everybody, Mike's Club offers a membership option. You can join the club for $10 per month. As a member, you can borrow tools or DVD movies from our Library of Things. We have a good collection of tools, and more than 3,000 DVD movies.

It costs $10 per month to join the club. We will also require verification of your address and contact information. We also ask that you maintain your membership, by either renewing monthly, or by paying for at least 6 months.

Membership in the club is an extra, and is not required for shopping or access to our other services. We are here for those who need help, and we work hard to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
